I am a fight photographer and photojournalist primarily based in NSW, Australia. My focus is documenting both professional and amateur combat sports of all kinds, from Boxing and Muay Thai to traditional martial arts.
Fight Photography
With more than 10 years training in martial arts and combat sport, and 8 years of experience in photography shooting ringside at every opportunity, I have a passion for capturing those moments that in a split second might otherwise be overlooked, the subtle yet decisive moments which define our sport.
Photo Journalism
Transitioning between fight photography and photojournalism may at first seem almost contradictory, however as a committed activist and trade unionist, the natural progression from attending protests and rallies was to use my skills as a photographer to start documenting them, and much like combat sport; showing those defining moments that may easily go unnoticed.
